The Centre for Metaphysics and Mind (CMM) supports excellence in research in theoretical philosophy. Philosophy of mind, perception and action - Researchers include Darren Bradley, Jamie Dow, Edward Elliott, Daniel Elstein, Will Gamester, Jessica Keiser, Heather Logue, Lea Salje, Helen Steward, Robert Williams. Epistemology (including formal epistemology) - Researchers include Darren Bradley, Edward Elliott, Heather Logue, Robert Williams, Jack Woods. Philosophy of language - Researchers include Edward Elliott, Daniel Elstein, Will Gamester, Jessica Keiser, Lea Salje, Pekka Vayrynen, Robert Williams, Jack Woods. Philosophical and Mathematical logic - Researchers include Thomas Brouwer, Will Gamester, Simon Hewitt, Scott Shalkowski, Robert Williams and Jack Woods. We maintain close ties with the logic group in the School of Mathematics, including in particular Nicola Gambino, Michael Rathjen, and Peter Schuster.

You should hold a good honours degree (upper second class or first class) in a related discipline.
