This program is for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. A field-based course is required.Indigenous studies is an exciting area of study that emphasizes Indigenous ways of knowing and learning. We explore the social, political, cultural and historical contexts that shape the lives and resistance of Indigenous peoples—here and around the world.The Major program strongly emphasizes experiential and land-based learning.
