Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Energy, and Land Management

The Environmental, Energy, and Land Management program explores the connections between business, environmental science, and land management, preparing graduates to become highly trained and sought-after professionals ready to make an immediate impact in the environmental and energy industry. As 1 of only 10 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Association of Professional Landmen, and 1 of the largest, it offers hands-on internship opportunities with industry leaders that often lead to jobs after graduation. The program also encourages students to tailor their coursework to their interests, creating a meaningful, career-focused learning experience that gives them a competitive edge and a strong sense of purpose in their future careers.

WVU will convert applicants academic results into a U.S. grade point average (GPA) on a maximum 4.0 scale. Freshman applicants with a converted GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale can be admitted, although some majors may have higher GPA requirements for direct entry.
