IDP Philippines, a global leader in international education services, is set to host another round of Study, Explore, Soar: International Education Fair 2025, the country’s largest gathering of top universities and colleges from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, and Ireland.

The two-day event will be held on September 20, 2025, at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, and October 4, 2025, at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, from 12:00 NN to 5:00 PM. Designed to guide aspiring Filipino students through every stage of their study abroad journey, the fair provides attendees with a platform to speak with international education counselors, meet with school representatives from abroad, and explore other essential resources for overseas education.

Attendees can also expect one-on-one consultations and comprehensive advice on academic programs, visa applications, scholarship options, accommodations, and possible migration/permanent residency pathways. The event is free to join and open to everyone, as long as they have a genuine interest in pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, and other academic qualifications abroad.

Over 60 schools in attendance

This two-leg event will convene 62 schools from six countries. A total of 35 will be present in Cebu, while 55 will be in the Metro Manila leg; several of them will join both events.

Each school will have a separate booth that attendees can visit if they wish to learn about the programs being offered, possible scholarship options, tuition fees and discounts, student life, and other related information. Attendees can also inquire about more specific questions, like the presence of Filipino organizations and communities on campus, the possibility of bringing their families, or the process of getting a job upon graduation.

Apart from schools, other institutions that cater to aspiring international students will also be in attendance. There will be booths specifically for services like accommodations, money transfers, telecommunications, and health insurance.

A specific area will be dedicated to the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), the English proficiency test that IDP co-owns. Event attendees can get essential information about the test, along with exam simulations and possible discounts. IELTS review centers partnered with IDP will also be present, allowing students to learn about their rates and score exclusive promos.

Second time this year

This is not the first time that IDP has held this kind of event. In February this year, IDP staged an even larger fair, which spanned a total of five days and stretched across five locations: Dumaguete City, Cebu City, Metro Manila, Batangas City, and Bicol.

A total of 85 schools were invited to the five-leg event, which saw the attendance of over 1,000 aspiring international students. Several attendees of the previous fair have either secured their student visa or already flown to their preferred destination.

IDP Philippines decided to hold another “big fair” to connect with even more students and provide all-around assistance to those who wish to study abroad. All of IDP's events are free! If you wish to join our upcoming fair, just click the button below:

Frequently asked questions

1. Who or what is IDP Philippines?

IDP Philippines is part of IDP Education Ltd., a global leader in international education services. With over 40 years of experience and a network spanning over 30 countries, we connect Filipino students with the right institutions and provide end-to-end support for studying abroad.

Currently, we have nine physical offices all over the Philippines: Pasig City (Main), Quezon City, Makati City, Baguio City, Batangas, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.

2. What can we do at the event?

The highlights of the event are the seminars, one-on-one counseling sessions, and school meetups. Through these activities, you'll get clarity on your study abroad journey! You'll learn essential information regarding student visas, application requirements, overseas entry processes, possible scholarship options, potential part-time work opportunities, and even school life abroad.

Since the event is only a few hours long, we encourage attendees to book further appointments to get more details from our counselors and partner school reps. These services are still free and can either be done virtually (via Zoom or phone call) or physically (in any of our offices).

We have also prepared fun and enjoyable activities. Those who will book appointments can play games and join raffles to win exclusive school merch, IDP collectibles, and even a brand-new luggage bag.

3. Do your partner schools offer scholarships?

Yes! Many of our partners offer scholarships reaching thousands (AUD, NZD, CAD, USD, GBP, and IEP). When converted, they can reach hundreds of thousands of pesos, which will surely be beneficial in lowering the overall cost of your overseas education.

We will give more details about study abroad scholarships in a separate Facebook post and blog.

4. Am I allowed to bring my family or friends?

Definitely, especially if you think bringing your loved ones can make you feel more comfortable during the event! They can join you during the counseling sessions and meetups with the school reps, allowing them to join the discussions and ask questions that may slip your mind.

And here's a sweet treat: If you bring a companion who will also book an appointment, you will receive a simple gift from IDP.

5. Where can I park my car if I attend?

  • Marco Polo Plaza - Cebu has plenty of parking space. Just be sure to arrive early so you can get the best spots.

  • Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria also has a lot of parking space. You can also park at Robinsons Galleria if you want to visit the mall after the event.

6. Can I attend the event online instead?

Study, Explore, Soar: International Education Fair 2025 is a purely physical event. However, we will hold an Facebook Live session for some of our partner schools, allowing you to learn about them from the comfort of your home. However, due to the limits of the "virtual" session, you won't be able to ask specific questions to them.

7. Do I need to prepare or bring anything for the event?

Please bring the QR code sent to you via email upon registration. We will provide pen and paper for note-taking, but if you wish to bring your own, feel free to do so.

If you plan to submit your school application at the event, we suggest bringing a copy of your passport, latest transcript of records, and updated CV. We will process your application for free!

8. Can I go straight to the schools without counseling?

Yes. If you're going to the event with a school in mind, you can go straight to them and ask your questions.

However, we still suggest getting counseled to narrow down your options and find the best schools based on your qualifications, preferences, and requirements.

9. Are late comers and walk-ins welcome?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome. We have a designated check-in booth for those who haven't registered online.

Late comers are also welcome. However, if you come in after 1:00 PM, you might miss the seminars.

10. Can I join even if I intend to work abroad instead of study?

The event is designed for those who wish to study abroad. However, if you plan to work, you have two options:

  1. Attend the event and learn about part-time work - Schools abroad encourage students to do part-time work to pass the time and earn extra income.

  2. Attend the event and book your IELTS - Regardless if you wish to study or work, you will need to pass the IELTS test. You can do that during the event.

11. Do you also offer accommodations for international students?

Yes! IDP offers all-around services for international students. We can help you find accommodations near your chosen campus that fits your preference and budget.

12. Will you hold more events in the future?

Absolutely! We have more events in store!

In the coming months, we will hold Study Abroad Caravans, which are just like Fairs but a little smaller. They're the perfect events to attend if you're in the province and cannot go to Metro Manila or Metro Cebu.

We also have virtual events and webinars. Just keep visiting our website or subscribe to our social media channels to get yourself updated.

13. What kinds of programs are offered by your partner schools?

Our partner schools offer different kinds of programs, starting from undergraduate degrees (bachelor's or associate's). Many of them also offer post-graduate programs (master's and doctorate), along with certificates and diplomas.

Regardless of your study level and chosen field, there's a school that offers the right program for you!

14. Is there an age limit for this event?

Everyone is welcome, regardless of their age. However, if you're below 18 years old, we suggest going with your parents or guardian.

15. Do you also offer IELTS tests?
