Take IELTS on a computer and experience a fast and convenient way to take the test.

Please note that you will still be able to complete a paper-based format IELTS test, if you prefer.

The test will be held on selected days and registration will close four days before the test date, subject to the availability of seats.

Why should I take the IELTS on computer with IDP?

1. You will receive your results within 5-7 days.

2. Although the test will be taken on a computer, all other aspects of the test are identical with the paper-based IELTS: Content, Timings, Question types, Marking, Security arrangements, Speaking test delivery (face-to-face).

3.  You can choose from more test sessions more days a week and find a schedule that best suits you. Busy on weekdays? You can now take computer-delivered IELTS on a Sunday starting December, only with IDP.

4. You will be able to complete all four sections of IELTS in one day.

5. Regardless of whether you choose to take the IELTS test on paper or on computer, you will receive the same test report form. Find out more about IELTS Results.

6. You will take the Listening, Reading and Writing sections of IELTS using a computer. The Speaking test will remain face-to-face, conducted with a live IDP examiner, as we believe it is the most effective way of assessing your speaking skills and prompts a more lifelike performance. All other aspects are identical, whether it is taken on paper or on computer.
