IELTSWhen applying to a graduate program in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering, students must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or any mathematical, physical, behavioral, health sciences or related fields. Applicants should have a 3.0 GPA or higher (based on a 4.0 scale) for all undergraduate coursework.
Statement of Purpose

Two letters of recommendation are required to apply to master's programs. Three letters of recommendation are required to apply to PhD programs. Letters are automatically requested when you enter recommenders' names and email addresses in your application. While we will accept letters from professional sources, we strongly prefer letters from professors acquainted with your academic interests, achievements, and abilities.
GRE scores are optional for this program. If you would like to take the GRE, you can arrange to take it through the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
