The cost of studying in the U.S. can vary by the school and by the location, for example, private institutions can be very expensive with tuition of sixty thousand dollars and more, whereas public community colleges like Golden West College can be very affordable like ten thousand dollars per year. You should also keep in mind the cost of living cities like San Francisco and New York is very expensive, whereas some other cities in the U.S. can be much more affordable.

We understand that studying abroad is a big investment and UNLV offers an exemption for international students. This includes tuition and fees as well as living expenses for one academic year. It is estimated that undergrad international students can spend anywhere up to $48,090. International students are required to show proof of funding on a bank letter. For example, my university tuition is about forty two thousand dollars a year, with another living a cost of about sixteen thousand dollars a year, which brings it to about maybe fifty four or fifty five thousand dollars a year. Having said that, there is plenty of merit scholarships available for students. So please know that most students don't play that sticker price. So studying at a US institution depends on the specific university at Portland State for a year, estimated cost for international students that includes tuition fees, books and supplies. Personal spending is about a little more than forty five thousand. But what's really nice is we do offer scholarships.
