Master of Accounting

Accredited by CPA Ontario (Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario), the Schulich Master of Accounting (MAcc) is an academically rigorous and highly intensive full-time program using the renowned Schulich Accounting Case Method, that is designed to prepare students for a career in professional accountancy.

Study with one of Canada’s best accounting faculties to master accounting functions and hone the ability to make effective decisions within legal, financial, regulatory and ethical frameworks. The Schulich MAcc is structured to prepare its graduates for the complex field of accounting while fast-tracking them through CPA Ontario’s Professional Education Program.

Successful graduates of the program will be prepared to sit for CPA’s Common Final Examination (CFE). In addition to gaining in-depth knowledge of all sub-disciplines that constitute the broad field of accounting, students will have an opportunity to deepen their expertise in two of the three program areas of specialized electives: tax, assurance and performance management.
