Postgraduate hospitality courses in Australia with IELTS score requirement of 6.5

Hospitality courses are popular in the Philippines and abroad, especially among those who wish to have a career in the travel, food, or hotel industry.


Australia has some of the best hospitality schools in the world. It boasts its top ranking courses that can equip any student with world class skills. However, many students are not accepted to Australian institutions because they do not meet the required IELTS score of the school.

This doesn't have to be the case. If you did not quite reach a 7.0 IELTS score, you can still enroll in many other hospitality courses from Australia's high-ranking schools.


1. Master of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association), International College of Hotel Management

The Master of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association) - MIHM (SHA) is a two-year (four semester) full-time course designed to provide participants with the opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and cognitive skills to understand and manage international hotel operations at a senior level, providing leadership in decision making processes and managing change. 2. Master of International Hospitality Management (Adelaide), Le Cordon Bleu Australia

The two-year Master of International Hospitality Management is your passport to great career opportunities. You will develop your knowledge and skills in service quality, human resource, financial and marketing management. You will also gain strong global perspectives on general management and leadership skills and engage in a six month hospitality industry experience. While Le Cordon Bleu is the registered provider for this programme, it is delivered on our behalf by the University of South Australia. 3. Master of Food Science and Technology, RMIT University

This program will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills required to operate effectively in the food industry at various professional and management levels. The course seeks to build professional competence, along with general leadership, management and critical thinking skills, aligned with the performance of the event manager role. 5. Master of International Hospitality Management, Edith Cowan University

Focuses on business and management principles relevant to the hospitality industry, and provides students with the knowledge and skills for a career in senior management in the international hospitality industry. The course includes business units as well as applied hospitality units, and students have the opportunity to undertake a four-month capstone internship. Employment opportunities include careers in international hotels, resorts, restaurants, not-for-profit hospitality providers, catering companies and event management.

6. Master of International Hotel Management, Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School
