5.1. For Undergraduate

To be considered for admission to the bachelor's program at the University of Manitoba, Vietnamese students need to meet the following academic and English language requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma (Grade 12)

• Students must meet either the entry requirements based on the country of study or program of study. Each program has a different minimum score to be eligible to apply.

• The minimum IELTS score for most programs is 6.5, with no band below 6.0

• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 86 (no band below 20).

5.2. For Postgraduate

UM accepts applications from most universities in Vietnam with specific conditions:

• A college graduation GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent) in the last 60 credits (or the final two years of study).

• IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0

• You must have an Honours Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.

If students do not meet the English language requirements, they may be admitted to UM's English as a Second Language (ESL) program before entering the main course.
