Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships is a full scholarship program supported by the New Zealand government. The program offers a variety of levels of study to support students from developing countries, including Vietnam. Eligibility requirements:
Be a Vietnamese citizen who is full 18 years old and under 40 years old at the time of applying for the scholarship.
Have 1 year of full-time experience and 2 years of part-time experience (paid, unpaid, voluntary work)
Have lived in Vietnam for 2 years prior to application
English: IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0
Commit to return to Vietnam to work for at least 2 years after completing the course.
What does the scholarship cover?
This is a full scholarship, which includes:
100% Tuition Fee
Round-trip airfare
Monthly living allowance (approx. NZD $531–615 depending on the region)
Cost of health insurance and travel insurance
Establishment allowance
Support for research/dissertation expenses (if postgraduate)
Reintegration allowance after returning home
